Dr. Sébastien Ratté
I was born in Baie-Comeau in the Côte-Nord region where I grew up and completed my studies up to college level. Studies and sports occupied most of my childhood. Subsequently, I decided to pursue my studies in aerospace engineering at the University of Sherbrooke, but my curiosity then led me towards another field: Medicine. I obtained my doctorate and began specializing in surgery, while also becoming a father during this time.
For over 20 years, I have been practicing on the south shore of Montreal. I have held various medical administrative positions, including chief department and medical director, but the one I am most proud of is university teaching.
Over the years, I have realized how much surgery can change the course of a human life. Whether it’s extracting a life-threatening malignant tumor or performing a procedure that will forever alter someone’s life, my goal remains the same: the well-being of my patients. I am also aware of the importance of plastic surgery and its role in individuals’ well-being. I make it my mission to ensure that it is carried out in a safe environment, which adheres to the highest standards and established practices. That is why I have chosen to associate myself with the Maisonneuve Surgery Center. The entire team represents an essential and fundamental element in the management and delivery of high-quality care to my patients.
Thank you for your trust, and I look forward to taking care of you.
